When you call up our web pages, it is technically necessary for data to be transmitted to our web server via your Internet browser. The following data is recorded during an ongoing connection for communication between your internet browser and our web server:

We collect the listed data to ensure a smooth connection of the website and to enable a comfortable use of our website by the users. In addition, the log file serves to evaluate system security and stability as well as for administrative purposes. The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data or log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. For reasons of technical security, in particular to ward off attempts to attack our web server, this data is stored by us for a short period. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. Cookies

Each time one of our pages containing XING functions is called up, a connection is established to XING servers. To the best of our knowledge, no personal data is stored in this process. In particular, no IP addresses are stored and usage behavior is not evaluated.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google Tag Manager

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website with regular information on current trends and our work, we need your e-mail address as mandatory information. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. Data transfer and recipient
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties, except for

  • if we have explicitly pointed this out in the description of the respective data processing,
  • if you have given your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO,
  • the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f DSGVO is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have
  • an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data,
  • in the event that there is a legal obligation for disclosure under Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c DSGVO and
  • insofar as this is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO.

In addition, we use external service providers for the processing of our services, which we have carefully selected and commissioned in writing. They are bound by our instructions and are regularly checked by us. With whom we have, if necessary, concluded contract processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 DSGVO. These are service providers who are responsible for webhosting, sending e-mails and the maintenance and servicing of our IT systems etc. The service providers will not pass on this data to third parties.

Duration of storage of personal data
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the relevant legal retention periods (e.g. from commercial law and tax law). After expiry of the respective period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted. If data is required for the fulfilment or initiation of a contract, or if we have a legitimate interest in its further storage, the data will be deleted if it is no longer required for these purposes or if you exercise your right of revocation or objection.

Order data processing
We have concluded a contract with Google for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
